Post-Academic Modeling

The thing I miss most about architecture school is making models.  Most former architecture students might think that sounds pretty crazy,  but modeling is my favorite part of the design process, plus it gets me away from the computer screen.

Here's some pictures of an initial design model I made earlier this year for a small, 8-10 room hotel on Shelter Island, NY.  Shelter Island is located just north of the Hamptons and directly west of Gardiners Bay on the far end of Long Island.
